In 1966, Yuhuan City was born the first private auto parts manufacturing enterprise, after nearly 60 years of development, auto parts industry has become the largest industry in Yuhuan industry. Yuhuan has the advantage of an industrial cluster of "parts produced in a township, enough to assemble a car", and is one of the industrial bases with the most complete categories of auto parts, the largest scale, the most complete industrial chain and the strongest manufacturing capacity in China.

Yuhuan xing because of the car, because of the car and strong, is a "car for glory" of the city. According to statistics released by Yuhuan, at present, the car ownership of every hundred households in Yuhuan is 134, and the average number of cars per thousand people is 402, which is far higher than the average level of Zhejiang Province, and the urban atmosphere of "loving cars and loving life" is strong.

China auto parts industry base

As one of the earliest auto parts industrial clusters in China, Yuhuan City won the title of the first "China auto Parts Industrial Base" in 2004. After that, it was successively awarded the title of "Zhejiang Province Auto parts Brand Base" and "China Auto Parts Export co-construction Base", and "Yuhuan Auto parts" was also named "Zhejiang regional famous brand".

By the end of November 2023, Yuhuan released statistics showing that Yuhuan has more than 4,000 automobile production enterprises in the whole industry chain such as engine parts, transmission parts and chassis parts, and the products cover 37 series and more than 6,000 varieties, supplying all well-known automobile enterprises at home and abroad, with an annual output value of more than 50 billion yuan. Among them, there are 2 listed enterprises, with an annual output value of more than 81 enterprises, and the automotive chassis system, power system, transmission system and other parts and components not only in China, but also in Europe, North America and other regions of the high-end product segment market share.

As the first fair of the autumn auto parts industry in East China, a total of 119 companies participated in the last CAPAFAIR  in Yuhuan City, and the current CAPAFAIR 2024 is eight months away from the development, has attracted nearly 100 auto parts companies in Taizhou Yuhuan City to sign up for the fair, and it is expected that the final Yuhuan delegation will be close to 200.
