The remanufacturing industry in Hejian City of Hebei province started in the 1980s, which was derived from the recycling of auto parts. National automobile generator, starter remanufacturing base

Hejian City is the country's largest automobile starter, generator remanufacturing base. Cangzhou Daily statistics show that by the end of September 2023, Hejian has 295 remanufacturing enterprises, and the annual output of remanufactured automobile starters and generators is more than 14 million units, accounting for more than 80% of the national market share, and more than 30% of the products are exported to Europe and the United States, Japan, the Middle East and other countries and regions. PDC bit, tricone bit, screw drill and other remanufactured products are exported to the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and other regions, the domestic market share of nearly 10%.
