Truck Axle Cover INSTALLATION & MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Threaded/twist-on installation
1. Remove product from blister package
2. For installation on an aluminum wheel, insert the enclosed plastic rim protector between the aluminum rim and ABS front hub cover or ABS rear hub cover
3. Align all 10 holes of the ABS cover over the studs and nuts
4. Install 33MM threaded nut covers on each stud by turning clockwise until fully seated and locked. A clicking sound should occur during installation of each nut cover
Push-on Installation
1. Remove product from blister package For installation on an aluminum wheel, insert the enclosed plastic rim protector between the aluminum and the ABS front hub cover or ABS rear hub cover Remove two opposite 33mm or 1.5” lug nuts from wheel and align all 10 holes of the ABS cover over the studs and nuts
2. Install one metal washer over each stud with the removed lug nuts by inserting the top into the inner guide hole so that the washer lays flat side up. The raised surface of the washer should face the inside rim of the holes.
3. Re-install lug nuts(over the steel washers). Tighten lug nuts per wheel manufacturer’s recommendation. Excessive torque can cause damage
4. Install 33mm or 1.5” ABS nut covers over each lug nut until the cover is flush with the inside rim of the hole
